Abstract

Economic terminology in English, with its inherent qualitative characteristics, is a product of centuries of development. It is known that the longer the history of the object of knowledge, the more the previous genesis determines its further evolution. Therefore, the study of the regularities of the terminological process in economics, as well as in any other vocabulary, requires the identification of sources and causes of occurrence, as well as the contradictions in the formation of its current state.
