Abstract

This article presents the usage of phrasal verbs in modern English and to know their features and classification. Phrasal verbs are a very significant phenomenon in modern English. They are extremely common in colloquial speech, where they often serve as less formal synonyms for verbs with Latin roots, they are also widely used in jurisprudence, economics and journalism.
